I love the beauty of words.
Every since I was a little girl, I’ve saved letters and cards with handwritten words. I’ve kept journals for years and they inspire me when I feel stuck in my faith. Call me crazy, but I take notes during movies. Most of my art in my home has a saying or a word on it. I love to learn so I am always reading something. I listen to song lyrics and to sermons online almost everyday. I can’t get enough words.
Especially the Word of God. It changes, heals and comforts me.
I love planting too. As an avid gardener, there’s nothing better than digging my hands deep into freshly amended soil. I find pleasure in watering seeds, breathing in the fragrance of the wet ground, and then watching for the miracle of new life to begin.
My desire as a writer and speaker is to plant hope into hearts of others. As a lover of words, my mission is to sprinkle encouraging words everywhere I go. I want everyone to know the love of God.
Words of hope are my favorite seed to plant.
“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.” Psalm 62:5
